Admin Guide
Public operating instructions for sessions, analytics, and exports
The administrator role
Administrators create and maintain course sessions, review overall analytics, and export data when needed.
Info
Reaching the Admin app
The Admin app requires authorized sign-in, and only accounts designated as administrators can use it. Without permission the page tells you to contact the platform owner.
Creating a session
A session represents one actual delivery of a course. When you create one you provide:
- Session code: shared with learners to enter tests and forms (it cannot duplicate an existing code)
- Session name and session date
- Course version
- Status
Updating a session
- 1Draft
Not yet open to learners - 2Open
Learners can take tests and submit forms - 3Closed
No more submissions, but data can still be viewed - 4Archived
Kept as a record after the course ends
You can change a session’s status directly in the session list.
Analytics
The Admin app provides a site-wide overview (number of sessions and participants), and you can pick a single session to see aggregated test and Use Case results.
Exporting data
You can export quiz results, Use Cases, and Exit Tickets as separate CSV files, which open in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Quiz results CSV
- Use Case CSV
- Exit Ticket CSV
Handling exports safely
Warning
- Store them only in managed locations; do not email them to personal accounts or put them in public cloud folders
- Share only with people who need them, and delete local copies when finished
- Before opening in a spreadsheet, make sure the file is one you just downloaded from the Admin app
General troubleshooting
- 1Creating a session says the code is a duplicate
Choose a different code. - 2A learner cannot start a test
Check that the session status is “Open” and that the learner entered the right code. - 3I do not have admin access
