What is measured

The assessment does not ask only "What is MCP?". It asks whether you can use and design an MCP capability safely and correctly. Memorizing vocabulary is not enough.

Three levels

  1. Level 1: Knowledge Check
The role of an MCP Server, tool discovery, schemas, authoritative sources and provenance
  2. Level 2: Scenario Assessment
Given a real need, choose a sensible architecture and explain the Tool, Input, Authoritative Source, Risk and Provenance
  3. Level 3: Practical Assessment
Given an MCP Tool, find its name, read the schema, build valid arguments, run the query, verify the result, point out provenance and state its limits

Scoring and passing

Scoring happens on the server. Correct answers and explanations never appear on public pages or in downloadable files. The passing score is 80%.

Info

Questions appear only after you start the assessment.
