Assessment flow

DS 202 follows the platform's assessment pattern: a pre-test first, then learning and practice, then a post-test. The pre-test and post-test are parallel but not identical forms, so learning gains become visible.

  1. Pre-test
Completed before the course, to see your current judgment. The pre-test has no pass mark.
  2. Learn
Complete Module 1 and Module 2: ten lessons in total.
  3. Practice
    Complete the six practice tasks.
  4. Post-test
Taken after the course, with an 80% pass mark.

Assessment content

Each test has 12 single-answer questions covering twelve constructs: AI role, data context, prompting, read-before-run, silent errors, verification order, claims, provenance, privacy, debugging, AI-recommended statistics, and ownership. The questions check judgment, not memorized tool steps.

How scoring works

Scoring happens on the server. Correct answers and explanations never appear in public pages, downloadable files, or any response before submission. After submission, explanations are shown only for questions you missed.

Info

Starting the test requires a cohort code and learner code from your instructor. Use your learner code, not your real name.
