What the final deliverable is for

The Government AI Governance & Acceptance Canvas is GoAI 101's final deliverable: it turns a real government AI adoption scenario, use case, workflow, context, tool permissions, governance, testing, procurement, and acceptance, into one structured output, as a starting point for department discussion and adoption preparation.

Info

Human–AI–Human: a human defines the task and judgment criteria, AI helps produce a draft or recommendation, and a human verifies the result and remains accountable.

A structurally complete Canvas

  • A clear business goal and a reasonable AI role judgment
  • A complete workflow design with an explicit human review gate
  • Concrete context/data sources and classification, with exclusions stated
  • Clear tool-permission boundaries, with high-impact actions requiring approval
  • Concrete governance controls and accountability arrangements
  • At least three test cases with evidence
  • Verifiable procurement requirements and acceptance criteria
  • An acceptance decision backed by evidence, not just impression

Info

The feedback the platform provides is a learning reference, not a professional certification, and it does not replace human review.

What you need to complete

  • Complete all 6 modules of GoAI 101
  • Complete the 6 activities and score 80% or higher on the post-test (at least 16 of 20 correct)
  • To earn the Government AI Governance & Implementation capability certificate (L2), additionally submit a complete Government AI Governance & Acceptance Canvas (all 14 fields completed) and have it approved by a Credential Admin against the rubric; a Canvas draft alone is not an L2 submission

How you are assessed

The Government AI Governance & Acceptance Canvas is scored by a Credential Admin across seven dimensions: use-case clarity and suitability, workflow design, context/trusted data, tool/permission boundaries, governance/human-in-the-loop, reliability/test design, and procurement/acceptance criteria, each weighted similarly, summing to 100 points. A score of 80 or above, with no critical-fail rule triggered, is a PASS.

Info

This rubric is published so you know what the scoring looks at, it is not the same as the test answer key.

Practical evidence

  • One recorded rubric result (PASS, needs revision, or FAIL), with no critical-fail rule triggered
  • A PASS leaves capability evidence for the matching GoAI 101 fine-grained competencies

You can earn

GoAI 101 Course Completion Certificate (L1): earned by completing the activities of the six modules and meeting the 80% post-test threshold, with no Canvas required; the certificate states the 6-hour edition and 6 learning hours. Government AI Governance & Implementation Capability Certificate (L2): requires a separately submitted, complete 14-field Canvas approved by a Credential Admin using the same rubric as the 8-hour edition. The two are independent and do not affect each other.

What this credential does not mean

This credential confirms the holder completed GoAI 101's required modules and post-test, or, for the capability certificate, demonstrated government-AI governance and adoption judgment on the submitted Canvas.

  • It does not mean the holder has a formal professional qualification or certification
  • It does not mean any specific AI adoption proposal the holder later makes is necessarily feasible, safe, or compliant
  • It does not mean formal procurement, security, legal, or human-review procedures can be skipped (Human, AI, Human)
