AD 103 Apply
Turn what you learned into your own AI Use Case Portfolio
What this artifact is for
The AI Use Case Portfolio is AD 103's final artifact: it separately rates the Value, Feasibility, Readiness, and Risk of the Use Case built in AD 101/AD 102, and decides a next step, owner, and review date.
Info
A structurally complete Use Case Portfolio
- Value, Feasibility, Readiness, and Risk are scored separately, with no opaque total score
- Every rating is backed by concrete evidence
- Risk is clearly visible, with obviously high-risk cases flagged for governance review
- Unknowns are honestly listed
- Dependencies are noted
- Every Use Case has an explicit next step, owner, and review date

What you need to complete
- Complete both AD 103 modules
- Score at least 80% on the course post-test
- To earn the Prioritization & Portfolio Design Capability Certificate, also submit an AI Use Case Portfolio and have it reviewed against the rubric by a Credential Admin
How you are assessed
A Credential Admin scores the AI Use Case Portfolio against six weighted domains: Value Evidence Quality, Feasibility Evidence Quality, Readiness Evidence Quality, Risk Visibility & Escalation, Honest Unknowns & Dependencies, and Actionable Next Step. Out of 18 points, scoring 15 or more with no critical-fail rule triggered is a PASS; 12 or fewer, or any triggered critical-fail rule, is a FAIL.
Info
Practical evidence
- A recorded rubric result (PASS, REVISION_REQUIRED, or FAIL) with no critical-fail rule triggered
- A PASS leaves individual capability evidence for all seven AD 103 fine-grained competencies (Value, Feasibility, Readiness, Risk, Evidence, Portfolio, Next Step)
What you can earn
AD 103 Course Completion Certificate: earned by completing both modules and meeting the post-test threshold, with no need to submit an AI Use Case Portfolio. Prioritization & Portfolio Design Capability Certificate: requires submitting the Portfolio and passing review; the two credentials are independent and do not affect each other.
What this credential does not mean
This credential confirms the holder completed AD 103's required coursework and post-test, or (for the capability certificate) demonstrated the ability to separately rate Value, Feasibility, Readiness, and Risk for an AI Use Case Portfolio while keeping evidence visible.
- It does not represent a formal product-management or governance professional certification or hiring qualification
- It does not mean any Use Case the holder prioritizes in the future is automatically correct or approved
- It does not mean human review can be skipped before a high-impact decision (Human, AI, Human)
