Web 3.0 and Big Data Analysis in Fintech, Green and Sustainable Finance
Use AI to turn emerging financial data into evidence, and evidence into responsible decisions. Using Web3, fintech and sustainable-finance contexts, learn to identify traditional, alternative, on-chain, ESG and climate data; use generative AI to compare and challenge evidence; and complete the AI Financial Intelligence Canvas. This is not a blockchain-development, Python or machine-learning course: the focus is transferable AI Evidence & Decision Literacy.
The course storyline: from Web3 to sustainable-finance evidence and decisions
The whole course follows one line: FRAME, SOURCE, INTERROGATE, VERIFY, DECIDE. AI may help compare and challenge evidence; the human stays responsible for the final judgment.
- 1. FRAME
What decision question is being considered?
- 2. SOURCE
Which data sources are most relevant and authoritative for this decision?
- 3. INTERROGATE
What patterns, contradictions or gaps can AI find across multi-source evidence?
- 4. VERIFY
Have the sources, assumptions and uncertainty of this evidence been checked?
- 5. DECIDE
Based on the evidence so far, what decision with a stated confidence level will the human decision-maker make?

DS 105 · Module 1: From Web3 to Programmable Finance
Curriculum
- Module 1From Web3 to Programmable FinanceUnderstand why Web3 matters to finance, how tokenisation differs from digitisation, the basic fields of on-chain evidence, and practice reading a simulated transaction record with AI while separating observed facts from interpretation.
- Module 2AI Financial Intelligence with Big DataSeparate data from evidence, learn the five evidence families and the Source Fitness matrix, and use AI as an evidence analyst while auditing an overconfident AI recommendation.
- Module 3Sustainable Finance Decision LabUnderstand that ESG data is not the decision, learn foundation sustainable-finance vocabulary and the evidence stack, detect greenwashing risk, and make a human decision with a stated confidence level under uncertainty.
