- An account with an instructor-related role
- Learners must sign in and have joined your session (or hold a credential for the course) to leave feedback
- Tell learners the session code; the form asks for it
Steps
- 1Reach the last module
After the final slide, select "Next" once more to open the "Please leave course feedback" slide - 2Ask learners to sign in and answer
Learners scan the QR code or type the address; say the session code out loud too - 3Read the statistics afterwards
Open "Course feedback" in the Teacher app to see the statistics of your sessions
What you should see
Learners can open and submit the form; afterwards "Course feedback" shows the statistics of your sessions (numbers appear once 5 responses have arrived).
The closing slide
In Presenter View, the last module of every course has one extra slide after the final slide: "Please leave course feedback", with the address of the course's feedback form and a QR code (generated in the browser, no external service). Use "Next" or the End key to reach it.
- Type the session code into the "Session code" box in the Presenter View sidebar and the QR code and address carry that session, so the session field fills itself in when learners scan; the code is remembered on this computer
- Downloadable instructor decks (PPTX and PDF): the instructor deck of each course's last module has the same page, but a downloaded deck does not know the session, so its QR code carries no session code; say the session code out loud; combined decks only get the page after they are regenerated
- The slide has no speaker notes and does not change any other slide
To show it full screen without paging through slides, open "Feedback QR code for the projector" from the Course feedback page of the Teacher app: pick a session and it shows that session's own QR code, address, session code and a countdown (we suggest protecting the last 3 to 5 minutes of class for learners to answer on the spot). You can also print it as a single A4 page for classes without a projector.
Read the feedback statistics
The "Course feedback" item in the Teacher sidebar shows, per course and session, the means for overall satisfaction, relevance, clarity, practice, confidence and human-review awareness, the spread of overall ratings, and NPS (the share of promoters, 9 to 10, minus the share of detractors, 0 to 6).
- Session teachers and TAs see only the statistics of their own sessions
- Course managers see the whole course and each session; sessions with too few responses are pooled into "Other sessions", and the course total is hidden when showing it would expose a small group
- A session with fewer than 5 responses shows no numbers
- Feedback from event-code sessions (not bound to a course) is attributed to the course the learner opened the form for, and a course manager's course total includes it
- There is no comment text and no learner identity here; responses a learner asked to delete are not counted
Common problems
- 1I cannot see the closing slide
It only appears in the last module of each course; other modules' Presenter View does not have it. - 2The statistics say "not enough responses"
To protect anonymity no numbers are shown below 5 responses; they appear once 5 have arrived. - 3A learner cannot leave feedback
Ask them to confirm they are signed in, have joined your session and typed the session code correctly; see the learner help.
